Birthday Bash 2019 Ticket Registrations Open June 24th + Announcing The Wabos Will Be There All 3 Nights!
Update Jul 23, 2019: We've processed all orders placed by this year's random drawing winners and there are a number that were returned. These remaining tickets are now prepared for our final first-come, first-serve onsale at 10 AM PT on Monday July 29th. Find info and dates here. This is the last chance to get advance tickets - the only option will be dinner ticket packages in person in Cabo (go to the bottom of this post for additional information on the dinners)

It's what you have all been waiting for! The 2019 Birthday Bash ticket registration for the random drawing opens for 5 days only starting MONDAY, JUNE 24th at 10am PDT. Access to purchase tickets is decided by a random selection from those who register. The ticket limit is 2 per night, per household (billing address) and each show's drawing will be performed independently. This means a registration that requests tickets for all three nights has equal chance of being selected in each drawing. You will have until Friday, Jun 28th at 7pm PT to enter. All registrations will be treated equally... as long as you enter before it closes!

Since this year's Birthday Bash is a special Wabos reunion, you know it’s going to be one heck of a party! "Prepare yourself for a throwback birthday bash!! Three nights of the Wabos and friends! Hey you only turn 72 once!" says Sammy.
Winner's will be selected randomly and informed via email on: Tuesday, July 1st
Those selected will be emailed ticket links to complete the purchase. NO TICKET TRANSFERS ARE ALLOWED. All submissions will be verified and multiple entries are subject to having all registrations cancelled. Valid photo ID of the purchaser will be required to be shown at the venue. Payment will need to be completed by Monday July 16th, otherwise tickets will be forfeited.
Any tickets not purchased by July 16th will be returned into a final pool of tickets that will be available in a traditional first-come, first served, public on-sale date to be announced.

DINNER SHOW TICKETS
As in years past, there will be a limited number of Dinner Show Tickets available directly in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico at the Cabo Wabo Cantina. Tickets will be sold on a first come, first serve basis in Cabo.
Night 1 (Oct. 9th) Tickets will be made available at the cantina club area at 12pm noon on Tuesday, October 8th.
Night 2 & 3 (Oct. 11th & 13th) Tickets will be made available at the cantina club area at 12pm noon on Thursday, October 10th.
Dinner Show Tickets will cost $120 per person and include a welcome drink, dinner, tax, tip & admission into the show. It does not include any additional drinks. Dinner Reservations DO NOT GUARANTEE a table for the show. The show will be standing room only. There are no tables or chairs. Maximum of 2 seats per person present for the purchase. Please have valid photo ID ready.

Excited for a chance to attend the bash, my birthday is Oct 9 so what an amazing birthday present this would be!
On the 3rd page of registration at the bottom is states "I understand that if selected for the lottery, I will be notified via email and must complete my purchase using the link I receive by July 2nd." The posting says the 16th. Which is it? 2 days isn't alot of time to put together the trip...
I'll ask away because at some point, the automated system said that I will get an email confirmation. Why wouldn't we?! That's ridiculous. I don't know that it told me that the submission was successful. Did anyone else see that? I'm doing this with a phone so everything about this old blog format is hard to read and slow. Can you verify my submission?

I had the same thing, no link. I edited response with no changes but still no link. No confirmation email that I was registered either??
You will not receive an email confirmation of your entry. The screen you get after your form is filled out that says submission received is the confirmation. Any other questions ask away.
I am wondering the same thing...I do not want to re register & be disqualified but I just want to make sure my registration has gone through!! :)
The "link" is the "Edit your response" hyperlink. Just right click on the "Edit your response" and choose "Copy link address" and save that somewhere just in case you need to change some of the info, e.g. you had your credit card stolen and you have a new number.
Has anyone successfully received the "email confirmation" yet?
Good question @craigr018! (And good idea to start doing this if the current answer is "No.") I made sure I saved (copied and pasted) the confirmation that told us to save the link for editing and made sure it worked before I moved past it. If that works, I think you should be good. Good luck!

I just registered for the birthday bash and it asked for an edit, I didn’t change anything but then I hit submit. I want to make sure it didn’t count that as 2 registrations. Been to Cabo, don’t want to miss out!!
I'm wondering about the email confirmation too. It's been half an hour now and no email. Did I register successfully?
Will we receive a confirmation email after registration ? I registered, but then went in and edited to make sure everything I entered was correct. I made no changes and then submitted again. Still no confirmation. Using edit to verify my information was submitted correctly will not count as an attempt to register twice will it ? That was not my intent and I am only hoping for 2 tickets on the 13th. See you FDIC !
Question- I just registered for all 3 shows- then it gave me an option to edit my responses. I made one small change to my registration info then resubmitted.Does this still count as one registration? I don't want to get disqualified for multiple entries. Thanks!!

Question ? I registered for tickets, there is a copy link ? But no link. I clicked " edit response and confirmed the registration, not changing any info, just want to make sure that it did not register me twice, as this would knock me out of the drawing. MAS TEQUILA !!

There should also be a clause that adds only 1 show per household mailing address. 1 entry per household and if drawn for multiple shows then select which show the others go into the second chance pool.

It's the question I was replying to from the other user..... Can we "register" with 2 people in a household for all 3 nights, but then only accept and pay according to one of those people? Or will that cancel out all registrations? ie. Can my girlfriend and I both register for 2 people and then accept and pay for only 1 person's pair of tix?

We'll only be in Cabo for the last show on the 13th. Crossing our fingers we'll get drawn. Coming down for the birthday bash for almost 20 years, but have been skunked on tix the last 2. Seeing the Wabos with you again on your birthday would be awesome !
