I felt I needed to take a few minutes to come thank some people. Let me start off by saying, I usually come blog about Sammy, Chickenfoot, VH, the music, all the typical stuff. But this time I need to recognize those of you who really have become like a little family to me, all my Red Head friends.

In just the few short months since I caught the Sammy bug big time, I have met some of the coolest, smartest, funniest, most generous people ever. Some of you I know a bit better than others, but for all of my friends who I have made between this site and Facebook as a result of our shared enthusiasm for all things Sammy, you have ALL amazed me in some way. I am not going to do a roll call, that's not what this is all about. It's a collective thank you to the Red Head communtity for welcoming me, teaching me, helping me, giving to me, being there for me, putting up with me, and anything else you can think of. You are all so willing to share your thoughts, feelings, and even your Sammy stuff with me!! I can not imagine another fan base for any entertainer, sports figure, actor....anyone...that is as much like a family as us Red Heads. And I know it's all a direct result of Sammy's whole philospohy on life, how he lives his own life, and shares that with his fans, and encourages us to share that with one another. You know what, we may not be curing cancer or solving the world's problems...or maybe we are? People just being nice to one another and making each other feel good without expecting anything in return is what keeps peace going on this planet, and there's just not enough of that going on much anymore. So if we can all come together and be happy and rock and have fun, then I guess we ARE doing something to help make the world a happier place, one Red Head at a time.

Not going to mame any names, but there are a few of you (you know who you are!!♥) out there that have been extra generous to me recently, and you get a special thank you. Once again, I really don't know what I can do to return the favor, but I promise you, someday I will.

I am going to make sure and post this over on my Facebook page also, I know not all of my friends visit both sites, and I want to make sure all the Red Heads get their proper recognition.

I love you ALL, you have all made my Red Head experience something I will never forget, and I know this is just the beginning. I have some big plans for 2011, and am already getting help from my Red Head friends in making those happen!! I so look forward to getting to meet everyone I can face to face at the big events like Tahoe and Cabo next year. 2010 is almost in the bag, we're gonna paint 2011 RED in a big way!!
