So last Thursday night, we were heading to bed around 11pm and, of course, the TV would normally have to go off at that hour. But I left it on hoping that we'd still be up by the time they aired Sammy's new song. Sure enough I caught it, loved it, and then turned off the TV around 11:35pm or so.

A little while later, it'd be one last check of email, lights out, and off to sleep.

But in that last email check, I noticed that at 11:37pm, I received confirmation that I was one of a few fans randomly selected to get to attend one of the shows at the Cabo Wabo Cantina (in Cabo) in early October. So we're going to Cabo!

Earlier, the wife seemed mildly frustrated with me for not just waiting till tomorrow to watch the song on Jay Leno, but even though I don't really believe in such things, I'm going to attribute this luck to some kind of cosmic karma kinda thing. I stayed up, lent my support, and got rewarded. Boom! Anyone?

We're staying at the Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas All-Inclusive which is a place that we've stayed before. Its pretty nice if anyone is looking for ideas on where to stay. Would love to see some of you there!
