Why did it close early ? It was closed at 7:00 Uk time I was at the hospital all day with my mum . And couldn't register any earlier .
Can you imagine what it takes to administer something like this when so many people want to come? Sam puts his trust in the company to do their best and follow through. I can't speak for him, but I'd bet MONEY he wants everyone to get in, it just can't happen.
I have been excluded for years as well, got lucky this year and am grateful.
Please re-direct your displeasure to the company the administered the lottery and also to the DB's that signed up, were drawn, then BAILED. TWICE.
Maybe next year it will be better.

How are people getting emails on the 28th when it clearly states that notification would not be til the 29th for the 3rd round drawing.
This is BS. We tried to put on the 28th before 9 PM and site said it was closed.

IMMEDIATE ATTENTION! READ ALL THE WAY THROUGH!
This email is being sent to people who are eligible for the 3rd round drawing of the Birthday Bash ticket lottery (having not won during the 1st or 2nd rounds).
To ensure that winners of the third drawing are able to attend and will complete their purchase, we have added some new steps to the 3rd round.
To be entered in the 3rd round drawing, you must confirm your registration at: http://www.redrocker.com/bdaybash/confirm-reg.php
You will also have the option to change the nights and number of tickets in your registration.
DO NOT CONFIRM YOUR REGISTRATION UNLESS YOU WILL PURCHASE YOUR TICKETS IF SELECTED.
WINNERS WHO DO NOT COMPLETE THEIR TICKET PURCHASE WILL BE DISQUALIFIED FROM NEXT YEAR'S TICKETS.
The form must be completed only once and can be submitted anytime until August 28th at 9pm PT.
Winners will be selected at random on Monday, August 29th and notified by email with a Ticketfly purchase link.

Count me in for the few and proud 3rd round winners. My wife and I have been scrambling all day to firm up plans. We had to cancel another trip we had planned for 2 weeks from now so we could make this one work. In hindsight, that is not a real bad problem to have in this case. We are booked for the 13th show - Sammy's birthday day. Should be a blast!
I've seen a few people post that they received emails today which is the 28th but the email that was sent out for third drawing said you had until the 28thPT to register and drawing would be Monday the 29th. Hope everyone got a chance to register that wanted to because it looks like the drawing has already taken place today.

Third drawing has started....we're in!
It's a random draw, some people get lucky and get more than 1 show, who cares! Previous winners shouldn't be excluded from other draws, every show is different. Who wouldn't want to see them all, or at least more than 1. I got tickets to the 3rd show, my buddy got tickets to the 4th show, but I can guarantee that we will do everything possible to get in for the other 2. FACE DOWN IN CABO!
How about selling them like every other concert in the world? Make them non-refundable and non-transferable. Sell them in June or July so people have plenty of time to get there plans squared away. This year has been a complete mess and sooooo much added work for the Admin. KISS....keep it simple stupid.....

I was lucky enough to get drawn in round one. Wasn't picked in 2nd chance drawing and I am okay with that! I never received the email for registration for 3rd chance drawing. A friend showed me her email today. It specifically states that she was receiving the email since she wasn't chosen for the 1st or 2nd round. If you are chosen and you don't confirm your tickets you will automatically be disqualified for 2017 BDB. That rocks! Why register if you don't purchase? A waste of time for the Admin team. I think this is a major improvement over the past years of the random drawing. I have been going to Cabo with or without tickets every October since 2008 and this is only my 3 time being chosen. I've met in the past many Redheads with 4 wristbands amd I was very disappointed. It appears the new system is giving all Redheads an opportunity to be chosen for one show. Bravo to Sammy's camp! I received the 3rd chance email and plan to submit for tickets. Only concern I have is that I am available for any night to attend and I love seeing Sammy but I don't really NEED to attend more than one night. I don't want to limit my request to just one night because I want the best chance of getting tickets. If I'm chosen for 2 or more nights and only purchase 1 night I may not be eligible for next year's drawing or maybe I'll be required to by all or none, not sure. Seems like there can be a better way for this. If someone is chosen for multiple nights, only allow them to purchase for one night and move on to subsequent drawings until all the tickets are sold. I appreciate all the opportunities to see Sammy throughout the year but am really looking forward to my first chance to see him in Cabo. We were selected 2 years ago but then the Hurricane hit and we didn't get to go. Saw him at the makeup concert in Vegas but not the same I'm sure. Good luck to everyone and hope to see you there!

I received the email this morning for the 3rd drawing. I am reading that several friends who didn't win anything on the 1st two drawings are not able to enter the 3rd drawing...I'm not sure why? I was able to log on to the email link and I'm signed up for the 3rd drawing. Keeping fingers crossed.

Keeping my fingers crossed that I might get picked in the 3rd round (if there is one). I already have my hotel and flight so all I need are tickets... I guess sleeping on the sidewalk is in my future.
I seen where a friend got offered the extended tickets, but sadly I wasn't included in the extended sale ... What a bummer ....
They have extended the deadline for current winners until tonight at 9pm PT. If a third drawing takes place the earliest would be tomorrow.
