I noticed that the archive starts at the 1997 shows. I am curious if the previous shows ( before 97 ) will be added.

I went to several shows before his deaparture from Van Halen. The best, written earlier, was the 1988 show at Arco. But I saw them several additional times before Sam was ousted. The 1991 show at the Cal Expo Amphitheater was a great show. In fact, the band filmed the black and white live video of " Top Of The World " there. Great show and the first time I heard Van Halen with Sammy do " Jump " with him actually singing the lyrics. The better show was in 1992, at the Arco Arena. In the middle of " You Really Got Me " they slipped into " Rock Candy. " It was a solid show.

The only shows I didn't catch were the 93 Cal Expo show ( though I do have it on bootleg VHS form ) and the 95 Balance show--I think that one was at Arco though I don't know.

Hopefully, I can figure out a way to post the concert stubs online soon. Overall, every show I have been to with ole Sammy has been a rewarding experience. I am hoping others out here in Redhead land can share their experiences with me as well.
