Let's not mence words here: Van Halen has been a lost cause since Gary left the group. I was terribly saddened when I saw Van Halen in 2004. Eddie was gone. Of course, I know he is clean now but he has been trying to do the Roth reunion since 1999. I am now convinced it just isn't going to happen. Not to bag on Roth/Van Halen fans but I have enough Van Hagar experience to know he helped that band stay afloat. I don't believe that the current Van Halen " recordings " are ever going to see the light of day.
Van Halen did reunite with Sammy, & Mikey too! But they went out & got a better drummer and guitarist and changed the name of the band to CHICKENFOOT!! LOL!!
