Hi, Don't get me wrong! I'd love to see one special rockin' Christmas song come out for the fans! I think Sammy & the Wabos could come up with something pretty cool as a way to say thanks & Merry Christmas to all of us RedHeads! How about it? What one song would you like to see them cover?

well Kim, who says you can't listen to Sammy at Christmas? I live in PA and personally, when there's 6 inches of snow on the ground, I sure as hell will be "Livin' It Up" in my mind on the beach in Cabo that's for sure!!
Thanks for raining on my parade, Christmas & Sammy are two of my favorite things, it was just a thought or better yet a Dream!

Yeah, Sammy and a Christmas album did always seem very "sell-out" to me. I have to say though, I rock out every year to "Twisted Christmas". Say what you will, I like it!!

If you know about Sammy & the way he views production/sales of his work...a Christmas CD will never happen! It's a big sellout! Think about it, what would you think of AC/DC or Motley Crue coming out with a Christmas CD?! Sammy has never been a big fan of Best of albums, as well as re-issues, etc. He believes it's a way for recording companies to cash in & rip fans off. He was against the "Van Halen Best of Volume I", this was a factor in the split! "UnBoxed" was only done to give Geffen an album on his contract when Sammy was going to Van Halen. Sammy also said that it paid for his costly divorce, if I remember correctly! He has also been the reason for no re-issues of the Van Hagar era albums world wide! The only reason he did the "Essential Red Collection" was because bootleggers were selling all the rarities as "Outside the Box". We were all asking for it to be released & he did it right for the fans on that one!

Yeah I'd buy 2 of them like all the others 1 to listen to 1 to save sealed I don't own a christmas album by anyone But Sammys would rule, and Yes I would buy Sammy singing Ikea instructions too.

haha we're all hopeless, we'd buy a CD of Sammy singing Ikea furniture instructions!! Anyone who says they wouldn't is obviously lying. LOL!! You know I love you people....

I've never been a big fan of the Christmas album's. I find them kind of cheesy. That being said, if Sammy put one out I'd buy it, so I don't know.
It's funny you should bring this up, I was just talking to someone about this the other day. I'm not too sure how I feel about that, I mean, sure, it'd be awesome no doubt, but EVERYONE has done it...and you know Sammy and his crew are never ones to follow the crowd!!
I'd be curious to hear other RedHeads' opinions on this one!!
