First Time to B Day Bash!

Me and wife scored tickets after trying for past couple of years. Coming from San Diego and staying at the Riu Santa Fe. Hope to see other Redheads there. Going to the Friday (11th) show. See you all FDIC. Can hardly wait.

Same here Mark, I have never been able to have a friends list on this site. It must be something in our server here at work that won't let me do it. I have never tried down loading friends on my home laptop...

You know Blaze I think I do recall you asking me last year on this site if I was from Ohio. I'm from a little town just across the river from St. Louis. We usually just say that we are from St. Louis when we travel since I'm sure most don't have a clue of where our little town is. We are actually seeing the 4 Decades of Rock show in St. Louis on 8/31. Can't Wait!!!! Should be an awesome show. Mark I like your outlook on age. My husband just turned 51 and I'll be 51 in November. Hard to believe because we really don't feel (or act..lol) that old and we still like a good party especially if Sammy and/or his music is involved. We have been Redheads for years. Mark I didn't realize that you didn't have tickets either. Here's to hoping like hell that Mark, Blaze and Deb all get tickets to a show this year and geting them before we all make our trip to Cabo would really be the icing on the cake. I agree with Blaze though......It's Cabo.... and you can't possibly go there on Sammy week with or without tickets and not have the best time of your life. We all definately need to have some drinks together!!!
Great time a coming. We saw him a couple of weeks ago here in Del Mar and the month before in Vegas. Great shows. He never has a bad show, does he? Party! Have fun.
I hope to have them before we get there. But like I said with or without tickets we are still going to have a GREAT time, Hell it's Cabo. How can ya not have a good time...Besides we will be at a Sammy and the Wabos show at the Tulalip casino here just north of Seattle next Thursday night...Can you say PARTY!!!

Likewise Jeff. We are really looking forward to meeting up with you and having "more than a few" with you guys also. I am thinking I will do as you did and just book the week and hope for tickets to a show instead of trying to squeeze it in after we get tickets.
I know what ya mean, the wife and I are going to Hawaii in September for a week and then Cabo 3 weeks later. I have already had a little over 4 weeks off for the year so far. Couple more for the next two months and will be off from Xmas to the new year. So you are right we will just have to make due with the party time we have. Looking forward to tipping back a few with you, Ok more than a few...LOL...in Cabo. OK Deb you're invited to join us...

Yes, so are we now. Just couldn't swing it with our work schedules and other vacations planned for the year. But we will sure make use of the time we have there.

We are not getting older...just more experienced. Age is...Mind over Matter. You don't mind and it don't matter. Just a number my friends. I am 54 myself and feel like 24. LOL.
You know Deb, I sure hope Mark is right. Hey are you the person I ask last year on this site if you were from Ohio. I grew up with a girl down the street from me and her name was Debbie Fowler...
On the other hand 6 foot and blonde, you won't be hard to spot...LOL...I hear about the younger years. I hit 56 this year and my wife and I still love to party along with our friends that are coming with us...

Mark I love your prediction for me and Blaze. Hope your onto something here. Your right Blaze....we can't buy since it is all inclusive. We will have to make a couple of walks to the bar for Mark to get him his favorite drink if his predictions come true. Awwww.....The Good Ole Sports Bar.....yep that is the place to be for that 1 last drink before calling it a night. Looking so forward to meeting all of you this year. I'll look for the SBBR hat at the pool. I'm pretty easy to find (blonde and 6 foot tall). I kinda stand out in a crowd....LOL Used to stand out alot better in my younger years ....LOL 60 days until FDIC!!!!!

My prediction for both Blaze and Deb is that you both score tickets to at least one show one way or another. The Gods will be with you both. It is going to be a blast.
I know exactly the pool your talking about. Hung out there alot the 2 years we were there. The other pool bar was also pretty filled with redheads. Thats the pool that we got to meet and have our picture taken with Vinnie Paul in 2011. He was staying at the Santa Fe that year so that was pretty exciting. Like you also, if we aren't in town at night we are hanging out one of the 2 bars in the main part of the resort. Yep....gonna be a blast for sure! Just have to find a way to get us tickets to a show now. Sounds like your in the same boat Blaze? Hopefully the Cabo Gods will bless us on the 2nd chance drawing.

Going to head to the "pool closest to town" according to Blaze. We have never been so looking forward to meeting all of you Redheads FDIC. See you there on the 10th.
If you are standing at the main pool looking at the ocean, turn right and head to the pool bar. that's where we'll be at. And then after dinner if we don't go into town we will be having a Party at one of the bars in the main court yard by the lobby...

We are at the Santa Fe also (7th-14th). Stayed there in 2009 & 2011. Good time. Last year we were at the Palace. Nice place but not as much of a Redhead party as the Santa Fe. Which pool do you all hang out at? Looking forward to partying with you all this year.
We are checking in on the 10th. Land at 2pm. Hope to be at the bar by 2:01. I wish!
When are you guys checking in? We get in on the 5th and out on the 12th. Our friends are going to the same show as you on the 11th. My wife and I struck out this year, but will still party at the Cantina...

RIU Santa Fe is probably one of the biggest Redhead parties in Cabo. Me and Jeff (amongst tons of others) had a blast last year and will be doing again this year. See ya in 61 days or so. FDIC 2013
