Glad so many people had good time; my daughter knocked down by his guys in front of Sammy
I'm sorry to dwell on this but to be honest I'm ticked off. I'm really glad for the people who had a wonderful experience at the B&N book signing in Roseville. My 13 year old daughter was 'moved along' by his guys and she fell right in front of Sammy at the signing table and he looked away! My daughter was horribly embarrassed (as only a 13 year old girl can be!) and didn't understand why I have been such a fan of Sammy's. Before she was excited to see him, but the way we were treated, she just has an unfavorable opinion now.
What if it had been one of his daughters that was roughly 'moved along', fell and the people running the show stood there telling her to hurry up? I imagine Sammy would be angry and rightly so.
If I had had the presence of mind at the time this happened, I would have pitched a fit and told off the handler that pushed my daughter. But it all happened so fast and we were hustled out of B&N so fast that I didn't think straight. Now of course I wish I had, but I'll simply have to settle for venting my anger here.
I know in another day or two, we'll be over this. Its not the end of the world and there are much more important things going on to dwell on this incident. I still like Sammy's music and if Sammy ever does a reasonably priced show in the Sacramento area that is not in a bar or casino, I'll go see him again and take my 16 year old son...perhaps my daughter too.

He looked away so as not to deepen your daughter's embarrassment.
