Cabo Update

Hold tight Redheads - I'm waiting for the dust to settle down in Cabo.
The military and government are in charge right now & once the town is a little more stable I will figure out what to do to help. I want to thank all of you fans for your ideas and willingness to give and the best thing to do is just wait for now. Many of my friends, partners. and employees that are in Cabo are doing all they can at the Cantina to help people.
In the meantime, I'm working on a place that can handle a gathering on short notice for Redheads who can't be in Cabo. One big bash somewhere - I hate sitting home on my birthday.

Hi We are still in shock. Watching the news on what happened in Los Cabo. Our thoughts are with the people of Los Cabo. With that said, Sammy has done the right thing cancelling his Birthday day bash this year giving Los Cabo time to heal. This year my friends and i were lucky enough to win tickets to the event. We feel the odds of us winning tickets two years in a row would be the same as Los Cabo being hit by a similar disaster two years in a row. We sincerely hope that Sammy and his team will take this under consideration when it comes time to refund all of us Redheads. We are all very disappointed that the opportunity to attend this event has been taken away so quickly. After much discussion found on your website it would seem that most Redheads are in agreement and would request an option for our tickets to be carried over to the 2015 Birthday day bash. I'm sending you a copy of my winnings confirmation. I hope that this letter in addition to the voices and opinions of your fans may sway Sammy into giving us Redheads the option of either a refund or choice to attend this event next year. Night Ranger plays Honolulu on Oct.11 & Maui on Oct.14!! Let's fit the Bash in between, and have both bands crank it LOUD!!
FYI: Not sure about the other airlines, but United and Alaska have waived their transfer fees if you cancel your flight to Cabo due to Odile. Alaska is for flights there through November 20 and United is from now through December 15. The United one just changed this afternoon and saved me $800 ($200 transfer penalty X 4 tickets).
Same here. I'd like to donate but want to do so where it will actually reach the people in need. Lots of scams out there.
I hope Sammy can recommend a secure safe place to send donations to help the folks in Cabo...

Can’t wait to find out what Sammy wants to do re the bash, hopefully Vegas, with some type of way to raise money for Cabo. Charity concert with special guest – EVH!!!! ïŠ:)
It's terrible what has happened down there. I was beyond bummed at not being able to go this year, but it's out of everybody's control. We still had thoughts of going down, but found out yesterday that the resort we were booked at is closed until at least Nov 1 so it's a done deal now.
I'm sure it was a hard decision to cancel the Bash but the way things are down there I also think it was the right one. Not everybody agrees and that's fine but I'm appalled by some of the comments towards you because of it. Also comments the other way at people that are still planning on going down there. It's their decision to make, just like it was yours to cancel the Bash. I hope you can reschedule the B-Day Bash and I don't think it's disrespectful if you do. You are one of the people responsible for what Cabo is today, but the place is not your responsibility. You certainly don't owe me anything. We're more than square for the decades of music and good times you've given me (and everyone else). You must still love playing music or you wouldn't be doing it. It's not like you need the money from it. My fear is that between everybody bitching about the way tickets are distributed for the bash and now all of the fallout from Odile you're going to decide you don't need the hassle and quit. Nobody wants that. Do what you do and don't worry about what the rest of us think. And if possible get the Bash rescheduled. I need to get my Red Rocker fix.

Sitting tight! We know you have the people in Cabo and the area in your heart so without a doubt Redheads want to help. Hoping you choice someplace I can come and celebrate but if not would love to send something to the area. I'm hoping something gets set up on your site so Redheads can send as a group.
