Chuck Ruff (1951 - 2011)

I lost one of my old bandmates, Chuck Ruff today. Chuck was my drummer on Danger Zone and Street Machine and many many live tours together. I have only memories of great times and great music with Chuck.
My condolences to his family, friends and loved ones.

Sammy - Why did Chuck bag on you so much while he was alive? At SwampLand.com during an interview he said some shit. And also in the book Gallagher, Marriott, Derringer, Trower: Their Lives and Music he doesn't miss a chance to get a shot in at you. Was there bad blood between you two? I know how it gets, I've got guys that are like brothers to me and we got sideways with each other and then we make up. But a lot of dust gets kicked up during the inbetween. Chuck was a BMF. From the sounds of it, he was a jealous dude. Anyways, sorry for your loss, sorry for all of music's loss with Chuck passing away.

Very sorry for your loss. I have a friend that works for me that was his drum tech on the danger zone tour i believe, and he was very upset when he told me the news today.
