Detroit Rock City
Hey Redheads I've been seeing some posts from many of you about my set being cut short at one of my Detroit shows with Kid. I was super bummed, but with the recent events at other shows - we decided to be safe rather than sorry. I always put the safety of my fans first. When things cleared, I decided to allow Kid to run his whole show for the fans. People were going to be disappointed either way and it just felt like the right thing to do. On a positive note, did you see the fan video of me and Kid and our rocking version of American Band!? Set backs aside, an awesome time was had in Detroit!
I want to close out my post with a request - my fans are the best in the world and this whole music community is such a family to me. If anything happens to any of you - especially at one of my concerts - I would be so sad. Please keep the Sugarland family and their fans in your thoughts and prayers as they work through what happened at their concert a few weeks ago.

I was bummed that I didn't get to see your whole set, but that said it was my first chance to see the Red Rocker since the Balance tour and I couldn't have been more impressed! What a show. I'll be looking for another chance to see you and the band.
I was THERE Sammy this was my first time enjoying your music live! and what a performance young man got a kick hearing you say your age compared to kid rock, and your comment you were old enough to be his dad I must say this to you, "you ROCKED it" friday night . I took the red eye into detroit for this concert all the way from pismo beach, orignially from michigan but big ideas took me to the florida keys then over to pismo beach. I got to ask what do you think of jammin with kid rock in the motorcity and did you stay long? did you know of the largest car cruise in the world was takin place the following weekend?? Well I am hooked on your music Mr. REDROCKER , wish I was able to attend your party in Cabo, mabe next year. btw, my sister won free tickets to saturday nites show and you were jammin till the black clouds rolled in and you didnt want to leave you said you were having a good time, was hopin you would have joined kid rock after the all clear was given and was really lookin forward to it to be honest till next time,,cheers RED ROCKER "MAS TEQUEILA"

I got tickets for Friday night the morning the concert was announced, and then a last minute family emergency forced me to give them up. I was able to scalp tickets for Saturday night thankfully. I was bummed that your set was cut short, and that I didn't see you on with Kid Rock. But, I have to say that your set list was maybe the best I'd ever seen in concert.
How about you come back to Detroit real soon and it will be all good?
