Hey guys,
Sorry it's been a while.
So, anyway, we visited Cabo Wabo Las Vegas on our Honeymoon between Nov 30 & 3rd December.
The verdict, unfortunately, horrible. And here's why.
Now this isn't anything against Sammy personally, because, if we didn't all think the world of him, we wouldn't even be Red Rockers.

So anyway, here's the story.

We arrived into Vegas on the 30th and checked into our hotel at the Monte Carlo. And immediately headed to Cabo Las Vegas. The reason we added Vegas to our Honeymoon.

So in the lead up to our visit to the states, I'd contacted Cabo Las Vegas and put my money where my mouth is.
Since there'd be so many photos and announcement by them that Sammy had dropped into Cabo Las Vegas and met patrons, I asked them "What's the chances that I'll get to meet Sammy?" They replied with "A fairly certain chance you'll get to meet him"
Stunned at this I replied to them with "If I get to meet Sammy, I'll donate a thousand bucks to a charity of his choice" as more of a thankyou to him. They responded with "We will be in contact with you closer to the date".
I never heard back from them. And to be honest, I wish I'd never gone to Vegas.

Besides being able to say, yep I've seen a heap of cool Sammy collectables, the trip to Vegas was a complete waste of time.

The food came out cold and tasted terrible, there were I kid you not, about 15 staff members walking around aimlessly talking amongst themselves. Pretty well ignoring the 8 of us that were in the place.

After we ate the cold Cadillac Nachos (i think that's what they were called) we decided to leave.

On the way out, there is a merchandise stand.

"Can I get one of those red shirts in Large?" I asked

"Nope all out of those." The girl replied

"Oh ok, can I get that one?" I asked

"Nope, none of them either?" She growled and went back to filing her nails...

(ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!???)

I got the same answer for another 2 shirts, when finally I asked, "Do you have any shirts in Large??"

She pulls one out and says "You can buy that one"

Then a co-worker comes over and they start chatting with each other, completely ignoring both my wife and I.

So I bought the shirt. And be warned, it's all Cabo Wabo shirts and none of the shirts off the Sammy store on redrocker.com

I was shattered and pretty miserable that we'd wasted 4 days getting to and spending time in Vegas just for Cabo Wabo.

The best part was walking in at the start and getting a photo in front of a cool looking wall, the second best part was leaving.

But on a brighter note, if you ever get a chance to get to JFK British Airways terminal, we spent half a day there waiting for our flight home to Australia via QANTAS Airways, there is 'Sammy's Beach Bar & Grill"

We had lunch and an early dinner before boarding our flight there, the food was fantastic and the service was impeccable. We were so shocked after the Cabo Las vegas experience that we tipped the waiter almost double what our meals cost. He let us sit around and plug our laptops into the wall and said just relax and he would help us any way he could. It was just fantastic and made us feel special. And we were. We were on our honeymoon.

Anyway, you guys might have had a different experience at both of these places but I just wanted to share with you all.

I'm 27 and have been a big Sammy fan since I saw Back to the Future Part II at the cinema.
