it's a total shame that he (Eddie) would resort to not giving credit where credit is due and earned to the people that helped him to get to where he is, number one rule never disrespect the collaboration you have with other musicians it's just plain bad karma, and just showing respect to the fellow musician and sticking with what he's doing and not what has already been done. A time will come when he could probably inadvertently destroy the van Halen name, just like every small town across the United States the times change and so do the people but the place's remain the same, everyone that knows the music will remember it but the time will come when no one will even know the music, it'll be an electronic file somewhere and he should (when interviewed or questioned) pay respect to the people around him, no one gets anywhere in this life without others, he should spend time listening to the words of some of his own music, a lot of truth is hidden behind the music, that is also why musicians should pay attention to the musical direction they take. And it is also the truth of musicians like Mike, Sammy and others of the same intention, that will always be the better musicians, Its a Collaborative Venture, not a Pony show.

Got there early endured hours of great music but no water..no beer..fearing to lose our spot in front..waiting for Van Halen..the last and best band there! Great memories! Named my son sammy after you! Samuel but always goes by Sammy. Last saw you dec 2000 Moline. Going to your show in Naperville and bringing sammy as I promised him someday, he will be 14 in august. Totally agree, complete lack of class by Eddie. I have lost all respect. Finding a bass player that measures up to Michael is damn near impossible. He is awesome...

Eddie is a complete jerk off - Van Halen is nothing without you or Mikey in the band - Roth can't even remember the words to the songs - he can't even get the city correct - he actually welcomed VH to Buffalo when they were playing in Toronto on St Patricks day - we left the show early didnt buy any swag and booed the show.

I have met both yourself and Mikey in Cabo - what an amazing meet and greet! Don't concern yourself or Mikey with a bunch of washed up musicians - At your Service i say!

This is one of the many reasons I admire and respect Sammy Hagar. He says it like it is and look at him defend his friend and bandmate Mikey. What at great guy. I've met Mikey and he was an extremely nice guy. Fuck you Eddie VanHanlen.

Okay, let's set the record straight! First of all, Sammy is such a classy musician. I would at a heart's beat believe him over what Eddie says by the way Sammy presents himself in the various radio and video interviews I have listened to and watched even going way back to the Howard Stern radio interview. Sammy is for real from the heart and professional. Watch the Howard Stern interview on You Tube where everyone's trying to smash Sammy over whether the fact He was better for Van Halen as a vocalist vs. David Lee Roth.
I don't care what anyone says, Sammy can sign, play guitar and perform circles around the one dimensional David Lee Roth. Sammy's range, style, diversity and melodies puts Roth to shame. Roth is very one dimensional. Sammy can rock a crowd way better than Roth. Now Roth in the early days of Van Halen was good, but the Sammy Hagar era with Van Halen is way better and redefined Van Halen as a more classy act. "When It's Love" is just one example where Sammy Hagar puts Roth to shame. Roth needs to grow up. He's actually embarrassing himself to the max degree acting like he is still in his twenties and trying to copy James Brown and Michael Jackson dance moves.
Come on Roth! No need for that shit! You ain't neither of them. Does anyone see Sammy doing that shit? Sammy is just Sammy. I watched him way back in 1976 in Austin Texas and Sammy was a Mother f_ck_r way back then. So all you Rothites, get over it. Sammy is the man. Eddie and Alex, I love you guys, but please don't go down that road. Be appreciative that you were given Sammy during Van Halen's other era. Sammy saved Van Halen and you know that shit is true. If it weren't for Sammy after Dave left, Van Halen may have gone down the drain and certainly as a business entity, Van Halen would not have been where they are today. You guys were miserable with Dave and his high maintenance personality and the ego disorders associated with it.

Now regarding Mike, just listen and watch the Jack Daniels Guitar bass solo on you tube and tell me if you really think he needed Eddie to show him what and how to play.

So Eddie please move on and you guys get back together do some more music together for us Van Halen lovers.You know the reunion get together album and tour will make each of you all another several hundred million dollars.
