Marching To Mars is Sammy Hagar's first post-Van Halen solo album. It features various different musicians on different songs. It was released on MCA Records, which had by that point acquired his former label, Geffen Records. "Little White Lie" was a major Mainstream Rock hit, topping the Mainstream Rock Tracks chart for five weeks.

Saw Sammy twice on this tour. Had Mona sign the program I bought at another show many years later. She loved seeing the old stuff

He had something to prove. And he did! AWESOME ALBUM, Start To Finish!!!!!!
I absolutely love this album, saw him on the M2M tour in Sacramento and his B-day bash in Cabo in '97. I love Huey's harmonica on Little White Lie, and I especially love The Yogi's So High. There is not a single track on this album I would skip past if I threw the album on to hear it all. I like the Amnesty Is Granted track, but I really loved when he did it for his acoustic solo when VH toured for "Live RHRN".
Love this album, Sammy's voice sounds super intense on this one.

"Amnesty is Granted" is better on this album than Meatloaf's "welcome to the neighborhood" . See you in Cabo....face down.
My favorite Hagar album - very raw and emotional sound on here. "The Yogi's so High" is a kick-ass song.
